To the one surviving this week,
If you’re tired, you’re not failing.
You’re grieving.
Grief rewires your whole world. It takes your energy before you even get out of bed. It makes even small things feel enormous - the dishes, the phone call, the decision to keep going.
This is your permission to stop pushing.
To lie down, to cancel, to choose quiet.
Rest isn’t weakness. It’s wisdom.
And it isn’t a detour. It’s part of the road.
One true thing:
You are allowed to rest without guilt.
Quote:
“Rest is not idle, not wasteful. Sometimes rest is the most productive thing you can do for body and soul.” - Erica Layne
Song:
“Peace” - Norah Jones
(A soft place to land when everything is too much.)
A note from me:
You don’t owe anyone your energy right now.
You don’t have to explain the tiredness.
You can just be. That’s enough.
And if you need to say it out loud, I’m listening.
With gentleness,
Kirsten
