Untidy Grief
For the Days You Can’t Grief doesn’t care if you’ve showered.
It doesn’t care what day it is. Or whether you’re supposed to be “coping.”
Untidy Grief is for the ones who are still breathing, barely.
No platitudes. No pressure. Just a box of real, raw survival.
For the day you can't. For the love that still hurts. For the parts of you no one sees.
What’s Inside:
A black or storm-grey candle – for lighting the dark without needing words
A “F* This Day” card** – no filter, no fix, just truth
A truth card set – 10 raw, validating mini cards (e.g. “Grief is a feral thing” / “You don’t have to heal today” / “This is survival”)
A shredded-paper rage pouch – scribble, stomp, rip, release
A ceramic rage stone or lava rock – hold it, throw it, heat it, keep it
A scream journal – dark-toned mini journal for venting, sobbing, swearing
A matchbox – for ritual burning or symbolic fire (labelled “burn, don’t bury”)
A comfort cloth – dark, tactile fabric square for holding, wrapping, hiding
A strong tea or coffee sachet – bitter. bold. grounding.
A Kintsugi-inspired quote card – “You are not broken. You are breaking open.”
